Goals Update, 4/30/12

Goal: Read Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki and Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and write reviews on each book by the end of the summer. (Target 06/30/2012)

Status: In Progress. I still haven’t gotten to writing reviews on these books. The semester has been very rough and I have not been able to make the time to read over the books to provide a review. Hopefully I will be able to make some time this summer, but to be honest the prospects aren’t looking too good. 

Goal: Pay off my car in full. (Target 6/30/12)

Status: Complete. I did it! Car-Payment Free, baby! Due to some good fortunes and blessings, I have been able get ahead of schedule and my official payoff date was today, May 21, 2012!

Goal: Gain 25 followers via Google Connect (3/29/2012)

Status: Failed. Yes, I failed in my efforts to attract 25 followers. But I didn’t miss by much! I have a total of 21 followers, and hopefully if I continue delivering quality posts and perform some SEO (search engine optimization), I will make this blog a hit! But thanks to all that found my blog interesting enough to follow. My goal is to develop more successful people, and this blog can only do that if you support it.

Goal: Make A’s for the Spring 2012 Semester

Status: Failed. I got a B and a B-, not my best semester. In fact, I got a warning that if I don’t keep my grades above a 3.0, the school slaps on an academic suspension for a semester! I’m not worried though; the classes I’m taking this summer should (hopefully!) result in A’s and I’ll be back on track.

Goal: Break 5,000 pageviews

Status: In Progress: I was on track to make 5,000 pageviews until this semester happened and prevented me from posting as much as I would have liked! Right now I’m at 4,118 which leaves a little over a month. While it is still doable, I would need a gargantuan effort from my friends and followers to make it happen by June 30th. I need your help guys!

Goal: Read one Success or Motivational book

Status: In Progress: I haven’t started Superhero yet, but I plan to in the next couple weeks. It seems like it will be an easy read and will help me in the long run. And if I don’t get to it soon, I will have some time in August to knock it out.

Goal: Total 50 blog posts

Status: In Progress. I’m at 42 posts including this one, so I’m almost there… only 8 more posts left. I’m definitely positive I can handle 8 posts in 2 1/2 months! I love knocking down goals!
